Senior Consultant, Risk Management - P&C (Fleet)

Location: Remote within the United States, based in the Central or Eastern time zones. Regular client travel of up to 50%, including overnight travel, may be required.

Salary: $122,000–$214,000 national range; expected starting range of $122,000–$182,000 annually.

What you will do

• Conduct client assessments focused on fleet-related exposures, physical controls, driver safety, and management practices.
• Identify loss trends, perform root-cause analysis, and develop client-specific risk improvement recommendations.
• Develop and implement fleet risk management initiatives, policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
• Provide technical guidance on regulatory issues, risk selection, compliance, loss prevention, and specialized agribusiness exposures.
• Develop and deliver fleet management, vehicle safety, and driver safety training for clients, underwriters, Risk Control, and other internal partners.
• Build partnerships across underwriting, claims, sales, distribution, professional organizations, and industry groups.

Requirements

• Typically 10 or more years of experience in a risk management specialty, with strong insurance and risk management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of driver and fleet management compliance, state-specific laws, regulations, exemptions, and operating restrictions.
• Experience developing and implementing fleet safety programs, including driver selection, hiring, training, supervision, and oversight.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards, telematics, vehicle safety technologies, insurance products, coverage, and loss prevention.
• Bachelor’s or postgraduate studies in a related field and relevant professional designations are preferred or expected.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record; ability to conduct physical surveys, travel frequently, climb, stoop, bend, balance, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.
