Sr UX Product Designer

Location: Remote within the United States; based in or associated with Rochester, Minnesota. Monday–Friday schedule with 10%+ travel potentially required.

Salary: $141,000–$204,500 per year.

What you will do

• Analyze research findings and plan user cases, journeys, flows, navigation structures, and information architecture.
• Design experiences for web browsers, responsive websites, native apps, smart watches, kiosks, connected health-monitoring devices, and other healthcare interfaces.
• Create storyboards, wireframes, interface modules, pages, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to shape products around patient and physician needs and business requirements.
• Evaluate designs against project and enterprise metrics, including WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards.
• Facilitate design workshops, refine the digital design language, mentor designers, and oversee vendors supporting experience design.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 7 years of experience.
• Knowledge of human-centered design, current UX methods, iterative design cycles, and end-to-end UX delivery.
• Ability to clarify complex problems, communicate visually, present confidently, and design for people with serious and complex medical conditions.
• Experience with accessibility for digital products and understanding of the security and sensitivity of patient medical data.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Mural, InVision, or similar design tools.
• Experience with Scrum Agile methodology and defining user stories during sprint planning.
