Staff Product Designer (Healthcare)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid work with an onsite interview at the SoHo office in NYC

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 base salary annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Design intuitive product experiences for students, instructors, coaches, and healthcare partners across native and web applications.
• Define product opportunities and select appropriate research and design methodologies.
• Conduct research, map user flows, create wireframes and prototypes, and design high-quality workflows.
• Use quantitative and qualitative data to guide design decisions and support hypothesis-driven experimentation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, growth, and operations teams to resolve challenges and manage trade-offs.
• Own and mature the design system, including patterns, components, and styles across products.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience focused on product design across mobile and web platforms.
• Strong understanding of the technology behind digital products and effective collaboration with engineering.
• Experience with product design methods including design thinking, design strategy, user problem definition, information architecture, and service design.
• Experience leading user research to identify pain points and inform product strategy.
• Ability to build relationships and influence decisions across multiple teams and organizational levels.
• Hybrid availability in New York City is required.

Nice to have

• Startup experience, particularly in B2B2C or B2C EdTech or healthcare companies.
• Experience with A/B testing or data-driven product development.
