What you will do
- Provide advanced administrative support to faculty and research lab groups, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, expense reports, file maintenance, onboarding, offboarding, and timekeeping.
- Coordinate meetings, special events, invited guest travel, agendas, transportation, and communication with internal and external participants.
- Support grant submissions and compliance reporting by preparing biosketches, CVs, letters of support, progress reports, and related documents.
- Assist with manuscript submissions, bibliographic references, graphics, and PubMed submissions for NIH-required PMCIDs.
- Coordinate seminar committees, interest groups, research data entry, supply ordering, purchase orders, and administrative budget monitoring.
- Provide office technology support and work with IT to resolve technical issues and replace supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of relevant administrative experience required; 4 years preferred.
- Experience with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, presentation software, email, and other office technologies.
- Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently with limited supervision, exercise sound judgment, and meet short deadlines.
- Basic science familiarity and a bachelor's degree are preferred but not required.
