Principal Platform Architect (Healthcare)

Location: Remote, based in Rochester, Minnesota, United States. Monday–Friday schedule; 10% or more travel may be required. International assignment is not available.

Salary: $155,500–$225,400 per year.

What you will do

• Own the hirify.global Platform observability and support strategy, roadmap, and system-health architecture.
• Design automation patterns for vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Support the execution of the technical roadmap and lead initiatives that improve adoption of tools, processes, and standards.
• Define and champion standards for CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and reliability engineering.
• Partner with developers, Product Managers, Infosec, Compliance, and vendors to identify risks and ensure quality.
• Mentor technical team members and promote continuous process and automation improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant information technology field, 10 years of progressively complex full-stack engineering experience, or 5 years in a principal engineer capacity.
• 3–5 years of experience in project management, system architecture, and design.
• 3–5 years of experience working in diverse Agile software-development environments.
• Principal-level experience with hyperscale cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud; AWS or Azure is also considered.
• Experience with enterprise information security systems, public-cloud environments, DevOps, CI/CD, cloud deployments, and enterprise management.
• Experience delivering and supporting clinical systems; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available, and the position is not eligible for the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Nice to have

• Understanding of healthcare requirements such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
• Experience with HL7 and FHIR interoperability standards.
• Experience with solution integration and delivery in a healthcare setting.
