Senior Enterprise Architect (Cloud)

Location: Remote, with residence required in close proximity to Louisville, KY; Dallas/Frisco, TX; Washington, DC/Arlington, VA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; or Tampa, FL. Occasional travel to hirify.global offices for training or meetings may be required.

Salary: $117,600–$161,700 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do

• Plan, develop, and modernize enterprise architectures across interdependent technologies.
• Design, build, and migrate applications, software, and services to the cloud.
• Define and operationalize cloud patterns, reference architectures, and adoption frameworks with enterprise teams and vendors.
• Lead architectural discussions, design exercises, and proofs of concept for practical cloud-native solutions.
• Create playbooks, runbooks, templates, standards guidance, and other customer-facing architecture materials.
• Provide technical leadership on modern cloud architecture, design trade-offs, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead on large IT projects spanning multiple enterprise systems.
• 10 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing software applications.
• Must reside in close proximity to one of the listed U.S. market locations.
• Ability to work from a dedicated space and maintain an internet connection with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with Azure and/or GCP.
