What you will do

• Lead architectural design and technical direction for PaaS products and platform components.
• Drive development of complex software solutions and maintain high-quality, well-tested code.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to multiple engineering teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering managers and SRE to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to improve system performance and development processes.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in a lead or principal role.
• Deep expertise in designing and scaling complex, highly available, distributed systems.
• Proficiency in multiple languages such as Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems.
