Commissioning Engineer - Cooling Specialist

Location: Khazna Site, Ajman, United Arab Emirates. Resident onsite position, 6 days per week, with a 4x1 rotation. Starting date: 1 October 2026. Duration: 6 months.

hirify.global supports commissioning activities for a leading international energy management and industrial technology company on a major UAE project.

What you will do

• Perform pre-commissioning inspections of piping, hydraulic components, electrical connections, and cooling equipment.
• Commission and start up primary and secondary cooling circuits, including system filling, flushing, air purging, and hydraulic balancing.
• Test pumps, Variable Frequency Drives, sensors, control devices, alarms, safeties, and interlocks.
• Test BACnet and Modbus communications and verify integration with the Building Management System.
• Support Site Acceptance Testing and monitor Cooling Distribution Unit operation through the HMI.
• Record operating parameters, extract event and alarm logs, prepare commissioning reports, and provide onsite troubleshooting support.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge and experience with cooling systems.
• Experience commissioning, starting up, or testing cooling equipment and associated systems.
• Understanding of hydraulic circuits, pumps, VFDs, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Knowledge of BACnet and Modbus communication protocols and BMS integration.
• Ability to perform onsite inspections, functional testing, operational monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• English proficiency and ability to work in an international, multicultural project environment.
