Mechanical Foreman (Job Performer)

Location: Asab, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; the role also references joining the team in Dubai, UAE. Onsite, full-time position.

What you will do

• Execute and supervise mechanical maintenance and construction activities.
• Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and materials for daily work execution.
• Obtain work permits, comply with permit conditions, and conduct toolbox talks.
• Review work packs, drawings, method statements, and risk assessments before work starts.
• Monitor piping, static equipment, pumps, compressors, valves, rotating equipment, flange management, bolt tightening, hydrotesting, and mechanical completion.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, QA/QC, HSE, and engineering teams; report progress, hazards, and unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, refinery, or EPC projects.
• Mandatory ADNOC approval and an existing ADNOC account.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and construction, including piping, static equipment, rotating equipment, and structures.
• Familiarity with Permit to Work systems, isolation procedures, and ADNOC safety requirements.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs, with strong communication and coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in live operating plants.
• Experience supporting engineering teams with drafting and design-related activities.
