Static and Package Equipment Specialist (Offshore Water Injection)

Location: Based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; relocation to the Spain office, followed by a return to Abu Dhabi

What you will do

• Lead engineering for pressure vessels, separators, filters, tanks, heat exchangers, pigging systems, and other static equipment.
• Manage water injection pump packages, chemical injection skids, produced water treatment packages, nitrogen generation systems, instrument air packages, utility packages, and filtration packages.
• Develop and review datasheets, specifications, technical requisitions, material requisitions, vendor documentation, calculations, and inspection reports.
• Support brownfield modifications, offshore tie-ins, site surveys, constructability reviews, installation, commissioning, startup, and handover.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations, vendor selection, vendor meetings, FATs, SATs, equipment inspections, and performance testing.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, risk assessment, MOC, quality, and process safety activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 15–18 years of experience in oil and gas engineering, including at least 5 years in offshore EPC brownfield projects.
• Strong experience with static and packaged equipment for offshore facilities, including FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Experience with offshore water injection and produced water treatment systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.3, API standards, ADNOC standards, and ISO standards.
• Experience with PV Elite, Compress, HTRI, AutoCAD, SmartPlant Review, AVEVA Engineering, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation.
• ADNOC Offshore or Middle East project experience.
