Lead Design Engineers (Static Equipment)

What you will do

• Lead the design and engineering of static equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, columns, and piping systems.
• Review and approve design calculations, equipment datasheets, specifications, material requisitions, technical bid evaluations, and engineering drawings.
• Coordinate design requirements across process, piping, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Provide technical leadership throughout engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
• Manage vendor technical clarifications, drawing reviews, inspections, and expediting activities.
• Support QA/QC, HAZOPs, design reviews, risk assessments, constructability reviews, issue resolution, mentoring, and delivery against schedule, budget, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• 20 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects, focused on static equipment.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, including API, ASME, and related standards such as TEMA.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and mentoring engineers and designers.
• Previous EPC project experience is mandatory.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills required.
