Technical Office Engineer (Piping) (Oil & Gas EPC)

What you will do

• Review piping drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, specifications, and engineering documents for construction.
• Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, and technical queries.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, procurement, planning, document control, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support during piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, reinstatement, and pre-commissioning.
• Monitor drawing revisions, review MTOs and piping material specifications, and support procurement activities.
• Assist with constructability reviews, as-built drawings, and project handover documentation.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience at the stated middle job level, with a minimum of 5–8 years in piping engineering or technical office functions within Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of piping construction, fabrication, installation, and testing requirements.
• Familiarity with ADNOC engineering standards, project specifications, and Permit-to-Work requirements; experience on ADNOC projects or similar GCC Oil & Gas facilities is preferred.
• Good understanding of ASME, API, ASTM, and other relevant piping codes and standards.
• Strong coordination, analytical, problem-solving, and engineering documentation skills.
