Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W3. Onsite work in a clean room environment with a 12-hour shift pattern. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion on sputtering tools.
• Troubleshoot equipment and follow up on chronic machine issues across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Work with equipment and process engineering teams to improve tool reliability and reduce product defects.
• Initiate projects focused on OEE, productivity, safety hazards, and cost reduction.
• Use data analytics and machine learning applications for equipment troubleshooting and improvement.
• Learn vacuum technology fundamentals and apply them to maintenance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or a Diploma/ITE qualification.
• Knowledge or experience in mechanical systems or electronics.
• Data analysis and Microsoft Office skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Willingness to work in a clean room and on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Clean room experience.
