Senior Engineer (Process)

Location: Woodlands, Singapore. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Monitor daily sputtering machine performance, including yield and defectivity.
• Analyze defects, collaborate with Failure Analysis teams to identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate target materials and their effects on defects, machine performance, and magnetic properties.
• Collaborate with target suppliers on issue resolution and process improvement initiatives.
• Work with equipment and maintenance teams to improve quality, cost, and productivity.
• Support new product introduction and process transfer optimization, focusing on defect reduction.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in engineering, such as mechanical, electrical, materials engineering, or physics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and drive process improvements.
• Experience with data analysis, statistical analysis, and interpretation of large datasets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, charting, data visualization, and analysis.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of or exposure to manufacturing, process engineering, or materials processing.
