Senior Engineer (Equipment Sputter)

Location: Onsite at the Woodlands site in Singapore. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Lead sputter equipment upgrades supporting new product requirements and next-generation technologies.
• Ensure hardware readiness and qualification with equipment development teams and suppliers.
• Partner with product launch teams to support successful New Product Introduction into production.
• Safeguard equipment performance and OEE during product ramps, including high-sensitivity products.
• Identify and resolve design, integration, preventive maintenance, equipment stability, and process optimization issues.
• Validate process capability and manufacturability while coordinating across R&D, Process, Equipment, and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with sputter equipment and vacuum technology.
• Experience with equipment upgrades, hardware evaluation, and qualification.
• Exposure to manufacturing ramps and high-volume production environments.
• Experience managing or supporting equipment upgrade or installation projects.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
