Engineering Specialist (Sputter Maintenance)

Location: Onsite at Woodlands, Singapore. Willingness to work in a clean room and on a 12-hour shift pattern is required. Travel: None.

hirify.global operates a large automated magnetic media manufacturing environment at its Woodlands electronics manufacturing site.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and product conversion on sputtering tools.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment issues and follow up on chronic machine problems.
• Work with equipment and process engineering teams to improve tool reliability and reduce product defects.
• Initiate projects focused on equipment OEE, productivity, safety hazards, and cost reduction.
• Use data analytics and machine learning applications for tool troubleshooting and improvement.
• Develop expertise in vacuum technology through training and continual learning.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent Diploma/ITE qualification.
• Knowledge or experience in mechanical systems or electronics.
• Data analysis and MS Office skills.
• Self-motivated, positive, collaborative, and capable of solving problems.
• Willingness to work in a clean room environment and on a 12-hour shift pattern.

Nice to have

• Experience troubleshooting mechanical or electrical equipment.
• Clean room experience.
