PO - Product Owner (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and communicate product vision, objectives, priorities, and expected outcomes.
• Manage, organize, detail, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Create epics, features, user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead discovery, refinement, planning, and other product activities with multidisciplinary Product and Technology teams.
• Translate complex tax, financial, accounting, and business rules into actionable requirements.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, scope changes, product indicators, and value-generation metrics.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a related Product Management role.
• Strong knowledge of financial products and processes, including experience or knowledge of Brazil’s Tax Reform and/or fiscal, tax, financial, or accounting processes.
• Hands-on experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate complex business rules into clear, structured, actionable specifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, decision-making, autonomy, and ownership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial institutions, fintechs, or payment companies.
• Experience with regulatory compliance or Tax Reform projects.
• Knowledge of billing, payments, accounting entries, system integrations, and APIs.
• Certifications in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Agile methodologies.
