Senior Category Manager (Healthcare)

Salary: $88,900–$155,500 per year, plus incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Manage a moderate- to high-complexity portfolio of national agreements covering beds, surfaces, patient handling, capital equipment, and related healthcare categories.
• Develop category strategies, negotiation plans, RFP approaches, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Lead supplier negotiations, agreement implementation, portfolio optimization, and supplier business reviews.
• Analyze pricing, utilization, spend, market intelligence, financial data, and healthcare industry trends to identify opportunities.
• Partner with marketing, legal, finance, field teams, advisory solutions, clients, and suppliers to advance contracting initiatives.
• Create budgets, forecasts, revenue plans, performance measures, communications, and presentations.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, contracting, supply chain, or supplier relationship management.
• Ability to develop category strategies and lead sourcing and negotiation initiatives.
• Strong financial, analytical, market research, relationship management, collaboration, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare supply chain, capital equipment, or related healthcare markets is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make informed decisions in a complex business environment.
• Willingness to travel.
