Global Category Manager - Memory & Semiconductors (Semiconductors)

Location: Must reside in the United States and work a hybrid schedule three days in the office and two days remotely from Lincolnshire, Illinois; Holtsville, New York; or Austin, Texas. Some light travel is expected.

Salary: $122,800–$184,200 annual base pay, plus a target performance-based annual cash incentive of 12% of base pay.

What you will do

• Develop and execute one- to three-year category strategies for memory and semiconductor components.
• Analyze semiconductor market trends, fabrication capacity constraints, pricing cycles, and supply chain risks.
• Lead strategic sourcing events and negotiate global agreements, capacity reservations, and pricing models.
• Build executive-level relationships with semiconductor manufacturers and distributors, including quarterly business reviews.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams on resilient designs and total cost of ownership.
• Manage a high-value global spend portfolio, market indices, cost models, savings, and value-creation targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive strategic sourcing and category management experience.
• At least 3–5 years managing semiconductor, memory, or complex electronic component categories.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain complexity, and key market participants.
• Strong technical translation, high-stakes negotiation, executive communication, and supply allocation management skills.
• Must reside in the United States and be able to work from one of the specified offices on a hybrid schedule.

• MBA or industry certifications such as CPSM or CPIM.
