Global Category Manager - Memory & Semiconductors

Location: Hybrid work for candidates residing in the United States, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, based in Lincolnshire, Illinois, Holtsville, New York, or Austin, Texas. Some light travel is expected.

Salary: $122,800–$184,200 annual base pay, plus a target annual cash incentive equal to 12% of base pay.

What you will do

• Develop and execute 1- to 3-year category strategies for memory and semiconductor components.
• Analyze semiconductor market cycles, fab capacity constraints, pricing trends, and supply chain risks.
• Lead strategic sourcing events and negotiate global master agreements, capacity reservations, and pricing models.
• Build executive-level relationships with semiconductor manufacturers and distributors, including conducting Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Partner with Hardware Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to improve supply resilience and total cost of ownership.
• Manage a high-value global spend portfolio, including analytics, TCO modeling, market index tracking, and savings targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive strategic sourcing and category management experience.
• At least 3–5 years managing semiconductor, memory, or complex electronic component categories.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, supply chain complexity, and key market participants.
• Strong capabilities in complex contract negotiation, executive communication, and translating engineering requirements into sourcing strategies.
• Must reside in the United States and be able to work a hybrid schedule from one of the listed office locations.
