Director of Technology Operations

What you will do

• Set QA strategy, quality metrics, and development-lifecycle quality standards.
• Increase test automation, improve CI/CD quality gates, and modernize regression testing.
• Evaluate and adopt AI-assisted tools for test generation, maintenance, and triage.
• Coach QA, IT, and Security teams, establish career paths, and hire additional expertise.
• Modernize internal IT tools and workflows, automate repetitive processes, manage the SaaS portfolio, and establish service-level standards.
• Own the security roadmap, lead incident response, and facilitate blameless postmortems.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology experience and 5+ years leading teams.
• Direct leadership experience in at least two of QA, IT, or Security, with strong working knowledge of the third.
• Experience transforming manual, reactive, or ad hoc technology operations into automated and structured functions.
• Strong knowledge of test automation, CI/CD integration, quality metrics, agile development, and AI-assisted testing.
• Hands-on AWS experience and knowledge of IAM/SSO, MDM, SaaS administration, network security tooling, and IT budget management.
• Ability to evaluate automation architecture, vendors, build-versus-buy decisions, and communicate technical risks to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
