Special Education Tutor

Location: In-person in Highland, California, United States; ability to commute to/from Highland, CA is required

Salary: $25–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Provide 1:1 instruction to a kindergarten student.
• Deliver special education tutoring in person.
• Make learning fun and interactive.
• Adapt the tutoring focus based on the student’s questions and comments.
• Teach on Wednesdays and Fridays after 1:00 PM.

Requirements

• Ability to commute to/from Highland, CA is required.
• At least a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to pass a background check if required.
• Previous special education tutoring or teaching experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with hard-of-hearing students is highly preferred.
• A licensed or credentialed teacher or tutor is highly preferred.
