OpenEd Teacher (Personalized Online Education)

Location: Remote within approved U.S. locations; Wyoming teaching certification required. Availability is expected during core business hours from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mountain Time.

Salary: Starting at $25 per hour.

What you will do

• Support an assigned core group of students and provide individualized academic guidance.
• Work synchronously with students in one-to-one, small-group, and large-group settings.
• Mentor and tutor students, create engaging lessons, and tailor resources to individual needs.
• Review and grade learning logs while providing timely, actionable feedback.
• Identify at-risk students, coordinate interventions, and attend IEP meetings as needed.
• Communicate with parents and collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Current Wyoming teaching certification is required.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required; applicants must live in an approved location.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to individualized learning.
• Kind, organized, patient, dependable, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and confidence learning online tools and systems.
• Access to a smartphone, high-speed internet, computer, and webcam; availability for 25–27 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with non-traditional educational programs.
• Residency in Wyoming is preferred but not required.
