Pre ETS Instructor (Education)

Location: Onsite in South Putnam, Indiana, United States; daily in-person attendance is required.

Salary: $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assess students’ strengths, interests, learning needs, and areas for development.
• Develop individualized employment-related goals and outcomes with students.
• Teach communication, technology, problem-solving, teamwork, professionalism, financial management, self-advocacy, résumé writing, interview, and job-search skills.
• Support student portfolios, classroom learning, work experiences, attendance tracking, and progress assessment.
• Teach students to use public and private transportation and communicate appropriately about absences or tardiness.
• Provide disability-awareness guidance and supervision strategies to employers, while maintaining student records and communication with consultants.

Requirements

• Ability to work onsite every day in South Putnam, Indiana.
• Ability to provide direct instruction to students in communication, life skills, and pre-employment skills.
• Ability to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods, materials, and curricula to individual needs.
• Ability to maintain accurate student files, attendance records, and written communications.
• PCG does not sponsor newly hired foreign national workers for work authorization, including H-1B sponsorship.
