Senior Associate, Retail Design and Experience, New York, NY

Location: New York, NY, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship.

Annual base pay: $90,000–$155,000 USD.

What you will do

• Support end-to-end execution of retail experience initiatives, new branch formats, and renovation programs across the U.S. branch network.
• Contribute to space design, finish standards, furniture selection, prototypes, playbooks, and implementation guidance.
• Review architectural and design packages for brand, customer experience, operational, cost, and schedule alignment.
• Coordinate architecture and design firms, agencies, contractors, vendor meetings, documentation, and decision tracking.
• Partner with Network Planning, Real Estate/Delivery, Construction, Marketing, and Operations in a matrixed organization.
• Prepare executive presentations, conduct retail experience benchmarking, and communicate concepts, progress, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design, or equivalent experience; the degree is required.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience in financial services, retail, luxury retail, hospitality, or multi-site commercial design.
• Ability to read and review architectural construction drawings and design documentation.
• Strong project management, organizational, communication, visual presentation, and design-intent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to collaborate with local and global teams and influence without direct authority.
• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with an in-house design team or financial services firm.
• Strong AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite skills; basic 3D modeling and rendering experience.
• Knowledge of finish and furniture vendors, multi-site rollouts, building codes, and ADA compliance.
• Experience integrating digital and physical customer experiences within complex global organizations.
