Senior Associate - Building Envelope

Location: Irvine, California, USA; travel approximately 20% of the time.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year plus a 10% bonus.

What you will do

• Manage building-envelope projects and deliverables for new and existing structures, including below-grade construction, exterior walls, and roofs.
• Track project scope, budgets, schedules, resources, billing, and collections in coordination with Project Managers and Principals.
• Lead technical meetings with internal teams, construction managers, subcontractors, design consultants, and owners.
• Review and produce technical reports, project documentation, and architectural sketches supporting envelope analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of local building codes, assess technical needs, and respond to project emergencies.
• Manage and mentor field services staff, and support proposals, business development, seminars, and industry outreach.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of building-envelope project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• Registered Architect or Professional Engineer status required in California.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent computer and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, solve complex problems, and maintain attention to detail.
