Senior Director, Finance (Semiconductor)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States (hybrid)

Salary: $192,000–$264,000 per year

What you will do

• Advise senior leaders across US lab infrastructure organizations through financial analysis, scenario modeling, and executive recommendations.
• Lead planning, forecasting, governance, affordability modeling, ROI analysis, and investment prioritization for R&D laboratories and engineering facilities.
• Support strategic customer collaborations, joint development programs, customer agreements, and alternative funding models.
• Drive finance process improvements using digital tools, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Operations, Corporate Finance, Tax, Legal, Accounting, and business units.
• Coach and develop a high-performing finance organization, including succession planning and leadership development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in a global technology, semiconductor, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
• Significant experience in FP&A, business finance, strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment analysis.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong investment analysis, portfolio management, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Hybrid work in Santa Clara, California is required; relocation is not eligible.

Nice to have

• MBA and/or CPA.
• Semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or technology industry experience.
• Experience in capital-intensive environments and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
• Experience working in highly matrixed organizations.
