Mechanical Commodity Management Intern (Supply Chain)

Location: Onsite at the Woodlands site in Singapore. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Develop a comprehensive visual representation of a mechanical commodity management process.
• Learn to update cost information in Seagate's SAP ERP system.
• Collaborate with the Commodity Management Team to improve and optimize workflows.
• Work with cross-functional teams on sourcing, allocation, contracts, supply continuity, and risk mitigation activities.
• Develop negotiation skills through coaching and interaction with stakeholders and vendors.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools used in supply chain and data analysis.
• Ability to use Tableau and Power BI to create dashboards and communicate essential information.
• Analytical thinking, effective communication, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
