What you will do

• Manage production, inventory, process, and shop floor control activities, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Maintain SAP work order release schedules, reschedule discrete jobs, and improve component availability through pre-shortage analysis.
• Review MRP execution, reconcile supply and demand, validate master scheduling and PDS requirements, and manage Engineering Change Orders and Requests.
• Participate in production meetings and floor audits, resolve work-in-progress issues, and provide material shortage status updates.
• Analyze inventory usage, stock levels, material variances, shortages, obsolete inventory, and service-level requirements.
• Analyze diverse data sources, perform statistical and data-mining analysis, create Tableau visualizations, and convert business needs into action items using Python and SQL.

Requirements

• Conceptual and practical expertise in production or inventory planning and control, with basic knowledge of related disciplines.
• Knowledge of planning best practices and how the function integrates with other business areas.
• Ability to solve complex problems using multiple sources of information and exercise sound judgment.
• Experience with data analysis and forecasting, including Python, SQL, or an equivalent tool.
• Ability to build consensus and explain difficult or sensitive information.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
