Senior Buyer/Planner (Aviation)

Location: Alameda HQ, United States. Workplace: On-site.

Salary: $96,000–$120,000 per year base salary plus equity.

What you will do

• Manage the full procurement lifecycle for parts, assemblies, supplies, and equipment supporting R&D, Flight Operations, Manufacturing, Facilities, and Software.
• Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve supply chain issues, delivery discrepancies, and quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate ERP master data, including part costs, shipment details, delivery dates, quotes, purchase orders, invoices, certifications, and vendor metrics.
• Manage supply chain impacts from engineering changes and align component phase-in and phase-out dates.
• Conduct market research and RFQs to secure competitive pricing and favorable supplier terms.
• Align production schedules with material availability by analyzing MRP signals and establishing inventory and sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, inventory, or supply chain, preferably with a procurement focus.
• Experience with vendor selection and optimization.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Odoo.
• Understanding of engineering BOMs and product structures.
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking, prioritization, organization, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site at the Alameda HQ and meet applicable export-control authorization requirements.
