SCM Planning & Analysis Associate (Procurement)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonuses and incentives.

What you will do

• Build and manage a global procurement model supporting Panasonic factories, orders, vendors, customers, and business partners.
• Control inventory, deliveries, purchase order balances, supplier negotiations, and coordination with warehouses and logistics providers.
• Analyze customer and logistics data to improve procurement efficiency and provide reports for cross-functional teams.
• Use Python to collect, clean, interpret, and analyze data to solve procurement problems and support Panasonic business divisions.
• Maintain customer, vendor, product, pricing, minimum-order-quantity, and delivery-lead-time master data.
• Coordinate accounts receivable from customers and invoice payments to suppliers, freight providers, and warehouse companies.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of global procurement, data analysis, logistics, or supply chain experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; a relevant master’s degree is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with SQL and Python for data cleaning and analysis; Power BI is preferred.
• Effective English communication skills in listening, speaking, writing, and reading are required.
• Valid authorization to work in the United States is required. Overnight travel, including to Mexico, and extended shifts, evenings, or weekends may be required.

Nice to have

• Communication skills in Japanese.
• Power BI experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
