Adult Health Clinical Faculty (Part Time)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach clinical nursing content and implement course objectives, curriculum, and program outcomes.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate nursing students providing patient care.
• Provide documented performance feedback, remediation, and timely assessment of written and clinical work.
• Maintain current knowledge of clinical agency policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Collaborate with course coordinators, faculty, administration, healthcare agencies, and community partners.
• Support program development, campus retention efforts, assessment activities, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing.
• At least two years of nursing practice experience as a registered nurse within the last five years.
• Professional nurse licensure in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication skills, initiative, and prudent judgment.
• Ability to supervise, evaluate, mentor, and support nursing students in clinical settings.
