Director, Operations Management

Location: Gloucester, MA, United States. Relocation eligible. Travel required up to 25% of the time.

Salary: $156,000–$214,500 per year.

What you will do

• Provide executive leadership for major manufacturing and supply chain functions supporting a complex business unit.
• Lead operations across one or more manufacturing sites, establishing production plans, metrics, budgets, schedules, and corrective actions.
• Optimize resource utilization, plant capacity, operating efficiency, costs, and on-time product delivery.
• Lead operations personnel and subordinate managers while promoting safety, quality, housekeeping, and effective problem solving.
• Drive Lean, continuous improvement, process optimization, and production technology initiatives.
• Partner with senior and executive management to align operations development with business needs and lead major functions or programs such as inventory management and AMPS/Lean.

Requirements

• Broad and comprehensive understanding of operational systems, theories, and practices.
• Broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance.
• Experience leading through subordinate managers of managers and executing functional business plans.
• Advanced analytical judgment for resolving highly complex or unusual business problems.
• Ability to negotiate and influence senior executives and external organizations.
• Understanding of and compliance with hirify.global' Standards of Business Conduct.
