Manager, Engineering - Cuffs & Fabrications

Location: Skaneateles, New York, United States. The work environment combines office, manufacturing, and laboratory settings, with occasional travel for site visits or business meetings.

Salary: $128,000–$176,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead Manufacturing Engineers, Manufacturing Technicians, and Toolmakers in daily operations and professional development.
• Design, implement, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for the Fabrications and Cuffs departments.
• Drive efficiency, waste reduction, product quality, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage engineering projects from planning through implementation, including resources, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Operations.
• Ensure process compliance with quality, safety, FDA, ISO, cGMP, and internal requirements while monitoring performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience and 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with process optimization, manufacturing improvement, and complex engineering projects.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FDA, ISO, cGMP, and regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
