Senior Manager – Engineering (AI)

Location: Broomfield, Colorado, USA

Annual base salary: USD 150,800–241,200, plus discretionary annual bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Define and execute the engineering roadmap for unified hybrid FinOps capabilities across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Build scalable enterprise SaaS solutions connecting cloud cost management, software portfolios, engineering metrics, and business value realization.
• Lead adoption of Generative AI and Agentic AI, including LLMs, AI Agents, MCP, and RAG, across engineering workflows.
• Deliver capabilities for cost optimization, capacity forecasting, budgeting, portfolio recommendations, investment planning, and executive insights.
• Partner with platform engineering and DevOps teams on CI/CD modernization, release automation, observability, reliability, scalability, DevSecOps, and secure-by-design practices.
• Build and develop engineering teams while leading cross-functional initiatives with Product, Architecture, AI, Finance, DevOps, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and global engineering teams.
• Strong experience building enterprise SaaS products and cloud-native distributed systems.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives and applying Agile software development practices.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, technical leadership, and business influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, private or hybrid cloud, Kubernetes, and container platforms.
• Background in Software Portfolio Management, Value Stream Management, Agile Planning, or financial portfolio management.
• Experience with DevOps, platform engineering, engineering productivity, enterprise analytics, and executive dashboards.
• Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM integration, AI Agents, MCP, prompt engineering, or RAG.
