Account Manager II (Brokerage) (Logistics)

Salary: $47,150–$62,675 per year in Illinois

What you will do

• Build and maintain professional relationships with shippers, receivers, and customer contacts.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely shipment updates.
• Analyze market trends and provide pricing for customer quote requests.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery appointment changes and shipment status notifications.
• Set up new shipper, receiver, and vendor locations.
• Coordinate accessorial charges, maintain customer rates, and verify billing information for invoicing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of transportation or logistics experience.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coordinate with operations and carrier sales teams.
• Work in a hybrid role based in Chicago, Illinois, United States.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace and Transportation Management Systems.
