Senior Manager, Software Engineering (AI/ML)

Location: Bentonville, Arkansas, United States; hybrid work primarily in office

Salary: $110,000–$220,000 per year, plus performance bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Lead platform-level execution of software and AI/ML systems in line with strategic priorities and roadmap milestones.
• Oversee shared infrastructure, tooling, and frameworks for scalable, secure development and system integration.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle, including DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud cost optimization.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to deliver AI-integrated features and intelligent automation.
• Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, and promote technical quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Manage stakeholders, track delivery metrics, and lead continuous improvement across complex technical initiatives.

Requirements

• Leadership experience in platform engineering and software development lifecycle management.
• Expertise in DevOps architecture, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native platform design.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills for complex technical initiatives.
• Proficiency in AI/ML system integration and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineering talent, with sound technical judgment focused on scalability and performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science or software engineering field with 5 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of relevant experience; 2 years of supervisory experience required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
