Technician II, Command Center (Biopharma)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; 70% in-office work model

What you will do

• Monitor and operate Building Management Systems and other facility monitoring platforms supporting critical utility operations.
• Respond to, investigate, troubleshoot, and escalate alarms using BMS, Insight, PI, MelRok, and related monitoring applications.
• Analyze trends, historical data, equipment dependencies, and operational impacts to support issue resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional responses and communications during facility and utility events.
• Maintain shift pass-downs, alarm logs, call documentation, rounds records, and event reports.
• Perform facility rounds, utility equipment investigations, preventive maintenance support, gas management, and pH neutralization system operations.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certificate in a science or technical field, or completion of a technical trade school.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of critical utility systems and facility operations.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Commitment to GxP, GMP, GDP, environmental health and safety, documentation accuracy, and data integrity requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Building Management Systems, facility operations, critical utilities, or industrial environments.
• Experience responding to facility or utility alarms in regulated or mission-critical environments.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems and facility monitoring platforms.
• BMS or equivalent facility operations training.
• Experience in a GxP/GMP-regulated environment and ability to coach less experienced colleagues.
