Material Science Intern, Chemical Analysis

Location: Woodlands, Singapore, W2. Travel: None.

What you will do

• Receive training and operate analytical instruments including ICPMS, ICPOES, GC-MS, IC, FTIR, KF Titrator, and LC-ToF.
• Prepare samples for different materials and sample types.
• Acquire data, generate results, prepare reports, and publish findings.
• Contribute to correlation studies between ICPMS and TMIC for media corrosion testing.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and supplier quality engineering teams on sample analysis and job submissions.
• Support contamination quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemistry.
• Strong willingness to learn, self-motivation, adaptability, and a collaborative attitude.
• Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for technical discussions, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Knowledge of analytical laboratory instruments and statistics is preferred.
• Programming and data analysis experience with Matlab, Python, SQL, JMP, or similar tools, plus knowledge of Six Sigma.
