TL;DR
Government Property Site Manager (Aerospace): Managing government and customer-owned property across material stockrooms, supply stockrooms, repair units, and asset tracking operations with an accent on compliance, audits, and operational leadership. Focus on supporting DCMA and customer audits, maintaining FAR-compliant property systems, developing corrective action plans, and analyzing performance metrics.

Location: Torrance, California; must be a U.S. Citizen

Salary: $100K–$105K annually

hirify.global provides global manufacturing, supply chain, government property management, production maintenance, and equipment tracking services through its Global Asset Management group.

What you will do

  • Lead government material and asset property management from acquisition through disposition.
  • Manage material and supply stockrooms, tool cribs, repair units, and government, customer-owned, and commercial property.
  • Provide administrative and operational leadership for a government services project, including budgeting, scheduling, planning, reporting, and staff supervision.
  • Maintain business systems and site-specific property standards in line with government, customer, and contractual requirements.
  • Support self-assessments and customer or DCMA audits under FAR 45 and 52.245-1.
  • Develop corrective action plans, operational metrics, reports, training, and risk mitigation activities.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of directly related experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with SAP and/or other ERP and asset management systems.
  • Proficiency developing reports with MS Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with customers and stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.

Nice to have

  • Current Certified Professional Property Specialist certification from the National Property Management Association.
  • Willingness and ability to obtain CPPS certification within one year of hire.
