TL;DR
Civil Designer (Infrastructure): Preparing civil design and drafting deliverables for major Defence, Transport, and Infrastructure projects with an accent on detailed design models, documentation packages, and multidisciplinary coordination. Focus on developing drawings and models in AutoCAD and related civil design software with minimal supervision.

What you will do

  • Prepare civil design and drafting deliverables using industry-standard design and modelling software.
  • Develop and manage detailed civil design models and documentation packages.
  • Produce drawings and models with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate designs and contribute to model-based project delivery.
  • Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project supervisors across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Advanced experience with Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • Understanding of design coordination and model-based project delivery.
  • Experience producing design and documentation packages supporting engineering outcomes.
  • Demonstrated industry experience in infrastructure project delivery.
  • Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering design/drafting or an equivalent relevant qualification.

Nice to have

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, 12D, and/or MicroStation.
  • Background in major infrastructure projects.
