What you will do

• Convert MicroStation (DGN) drawings to AutoCAD (DWG) format using approved tools.
• Standardize and update drawing title blocks, including project info and revision histories.
• Apply redlines and markups to existing drawings based on engineering direction.
• Maintain organized electronic drawing files within document management systems.
• Perform quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy and readiness for downstream use.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on CAD drafting experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and MicroStation.
• Experience with drawing revisions, file conversions, and title block standardization.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of CAD file organization.
• Must be able to work on-site in Detroit, MI, three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in utility, infrastructure, or engineering firm environments.
• Familiarity with document management systems like SharePoint or Documentum.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in Drafting or CAD.
