Executive Director, Global Talent Acquisition (AI)

Location: San Diego, California, United States

Annual base salary: $243,900–$333,000, plus a 35% target annual bonus and eligibility for an equity-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a global Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with long-term business growth.
• Partner with the CHRO, executive leadership, HR Business Partners, and business leaders on workforce planning and multi-year hiring strategies.
• Provide labor market intelligence, competitive insights, talent analytics, and workforce scenarios to support enterprise decisions.
• Lead and develop a high-performing global Talent Acquisition organization with clear performance metrics and accountability.
• Build capabilities across executive recruiting, strategic sourcing, scientific recruiting, employer branding, recruiting operations, and talent intelligence.
• Modernize recruiting through AI, automation, and scalable technology while improving hiring quality, predictability, productivity, and candidate experience.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree with 16+ years of progressive Talent Acquisition or HR leadership experience, or a master’s degree with 14+ years of similar experience.
• Experience leading a global Talent Acquisition function with enterprise accountability.
• Experience with organizational transformation, scaling initiatives, acquisitions, or international expansion.
• Expertise in AI-enabled recruiting technologies and workforce analytics.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and Board committees.
• Proven ability to influence C-suite and senior management, lead teams, and mentor Talent Acquisition leaders.
