Contract Technical Sourcer (AI)

Location: Remote-friendly within the United States; staff are expected to work from an Anthropic office at least 25% of the time.

Annual salary: $228,800–$312,000 USD.

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for highly qualified technical candidates at volume.
• Partner with technical hiring managers and interviewers to define hiring needs, team matching, skills, and qualifications.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners on long-term talent acquisition strategies across technical teams.
• Build pipelines for engineering leadership and senior technical individual contributor roles.
• Apply emerging sourcing techniques, interview innovations, and creative pipeline-building strategies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success filling engineering leadership and high-level technical individual contributor positions.
• Experience managing high-volume pipeline and evergreen recruiting roles.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive ownership, and ability to work autonomously.
• Experience implementing inclusive and equitable hiring practices.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or professional experience.
• Passion for AI’s potential and a realistic understanding of its risks and limitations.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of technical sourcing experience, including in-house experience.
• Experience sourcing for product engineering, infrastructure, or AI/ML teams.
• Experience scaling diverse, high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
