Head of Recruiting (AI)

Location: San Francisco office; onsite 5 days a week

Salary: $400,000–$500,000 per year, plus equity and competitive benefits.

What you will do

• Own recruiting strategy and execution across all functions.
• Build a sourcing engine that identifies and reaches leading AI interpretability researchers and engineers before they enter the job market.
• Own the interview process end to end and define the hiring bar with founders and technical leaders.
• Manage recruiting data, pipeline health, conversion, time-to-close, forecasting, and headcount planning.
• Own the candidate experience and hirify.global’s representation in the market from initial outreach through signed offer.
• Hire and lead a recruiting team while remaining hands-on in the hiring funnel.

Requirements

• Experience owning recruiting strategy and execution across an organization.
• Ability to build repeatable sourcing systems for exceptional researchers and engineers.
• Ability to partner closely with founders and technical leaders to define and maintain a high hiring bar.
• Strong systems thinking, urgency, ownership, and initiative in a high-intensity environment.
• Ability to work onsite in the San Francisco office 5 days per week.
