Senior Staff Engineer, Product Development Engineering

Location: Folsom, California, United States. Work is performed onsite at the Folsom Office.

Salary: $148,900–$253,100 per year, plus potential incentive and long-term incentive awards.

What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term vision for front-end wafer test coverage, emphasizing high I/O parallelism and low-latency solutions.
• Develop initiatives to improve product yield, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Advance design-for-test and design-for-debug methodologies in collaboration with memory technology experts.
• Oversee wafer test development from NPI through mass production across multiple geographies.
• Design flexible and reliable hardware and software test infrastructure with a Design for Manufacturability mindset.
• Investigate qualification and yield issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and guide technical reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in memory, storage, or system-level product, test, or validation engineering.
• Experience with simulation, emulation, manufacturing processes, functional and stress testing, and failure analysis using oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and signal injection tools.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for test automation and data analysis.
• Knowledge of NAND, DDR, LPDDR, GDDR, HBM, and PCIe technologies.
• Experience with Advantest or Teradyne automated test equipment, firmware development, test software architecture, and yield and quality analytics.
