Logistic Billing Analyst

Location: Plano, TX, USA

Compensation: USD 24–26 per hour

What you will do

• Process customer accounts-receivable billing accurately and on schedule according to divisional policies.
• Manage billing corrections and prepare correction forms using an Access database.
• Review freight documentation supporting invoiced charges and accounts-payable payments.
• Audit carrier freight bills and interpret applicable tariffs and contracts.
• Investigate billing errors and duplicate carrier charges, and prepare ad hoc reports.
• Support profit-and-loss management, planning, forecasting, and revenue, cost, and balance-sheet reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in accounts payable, invoicing, customer service, transportation, or logistics.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to assess situations quickly, make decisions, and perform corrective actions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills across organizational levels.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
