Accounting Associate

Location: Hybrid in Rochester, Buffalo, or Ballston Spa, New York. In-person attendance is required during training; a hybrid schedule can be established after training.

Salary: $24–$28 per hour

hirify.global provides a full-time role within its Accounting Department, with a focus on project billing and financial administration.

What you will do

• Issue monthly billing for multiple project managers.
• Collaborate with project staff and accounting colleagues to prepare and send project invoices.
• Generate financial reports and analyze accounting data.
• Review and process company credit card statements.
• Assist with accounts receivable and collections processes.
• Support additional special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Three or more years of accounting experience, preferably in professional services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of billing practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with all organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Accounts receivable or accounts payable experience.
