Sr. Principal Experience Designer, AEC

Location: United States, Texas — Offsite/Home. Travel approximately quarterly across North America and other international locations. In-person onboarding and/or identity verification may be required.

Salary: $155,000–$278,300 annual base salary for U.S.-based roles; offers may exceed this range and may include bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define and drive a cohesive UX vision for construction experiences across web and native iOS/Android products in hirify.global Forma.
• Shape product strategy by applying product, platform, user-centered design, and AEC industry expertise.
• Create prototypes, diagrams, concepts, and visual frameworks to communicate design direction and align teams.
• Translate complex user needs and business priorities into experience direction, interaction models, and scalable system frameworks.
• Lead design storytelling, presentations, and discussions with UX, Product, Engineering, Analytics, and executive stakeholders.
• Guide designers, researchers, product managers, and engineering leaders in delivering feasible end-to-end experiences across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional experience as a UX design individual contributor and/or design leader.
• Experience designing SaaS products across multiple device types and software platforms.
• Strong communication, facilitation, storytelling, and cross-functional influence skills.
• Proficiency with Figma and AI-enabled prototyping tools.
• Experience working effectively in larger, cross-team environments.
• Online portfolio with access/password included on the resume is required for consideration.
