Water & Wastewater Process Design Engineer (Water & Wastewater)

Location: Austin, Texas; hybrid work between office and field environments

What you will do

• Develop and review process and facility design plans, engineering calculations, and technical documentation for water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, and treatment systems.
• Apply engineering standards, design codes, and regulatory criteria throughout project delivery.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, flow analysis, and system performance evaluations.
• Coordinate design work with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Support project managers with design input, cost estimating, constructability reviews, and quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or related engineering.
• 4+ years of water and wastewater process engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Ability to work in both office and field environments, including occasional exposure to inclement weather, heat, humidity, noise, hazards, and bodies of water.
• Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 35 lbs.

Nice to have

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
