Project Manager (Azure)

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; Workplace: Hybrid

What you will do

• Lead Azure Cloud Operations and Support delivery across incident, change, problem, request, vulnerability remediation, automation, and platform governance workstreams.
• Manage major incidents end to end, coordinating technical bridges, impact assessments, escalation, service restoration, and post-incident reviews.
• Review root cause analyses and track corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate Azure Automation, Terraform, Ansible, Azure Update Manager, patching, configuration management, and vulnerability remediation initiatives.
• Translate operational improvements into agile user stories with acceptance criteria, estimates, owners, timelines, and progress tracking.
• Manage stakeholder, vendor, and cross-functional communication, including governance reviews, service reporting, risks, blockers, SLAs, and executive dashboards.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in technical project management, including substantial hands-on Azure Cloud Operations experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Azure Automation, Azure Update Manager, Azure identity and access management, and Azure virtual machines and networking.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor and knowledge of Azure cost governance and operational best practices.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automation and configuration management with Ansible.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation, patch coordination, and ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, request, and continual improvement processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related discipline.

• ServiceNow ITSM platform integration experience.
• Familiarity with New Relic and operational observability tools.
• Advanced Azure dashboard and alerting skills.
• Executive-level reporting experience.
• Experience managing distributed teams across multiple time zones.
